Educational leave

Lifelong learning is an investment that pays off. But often the organisation of further and advanced training is too big a hurdle for employees and workers. This is where educational leave is a welcome option. You can have your employer give you up to ten days off for educational leave.  

The Academy of Languages offers you the opportunity to refresh your foreign language skills within the framework of an educational leave. Improve your language skills in English, Spanish, French, Italian or German. Visit our language courses in the middle of Heidelberg's historic old town, get into conversation with international students and use your language skills in direct contact with each other.

By deepening your foreign language skills, you will become even more confident on the international stage, negotiate confidently with business partners in their native language and thus leave a lasting positive impression.  

Classes at the Academy of Languages are small. Experienced and highly qualified teachers ensure a dynamic and effective learning atmosphere. In the afternoons, evenings and on various weekends, we organise a colourful cultural programme. Of course, you can also explore Heidelberg's historic old town and the surrounding area on your own.
