TOEIC Test in Germany

The Test of English for International Communication, or TOEIC for short, has been an internationally recognized English test since 1979. It was designed and is published by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the market leader in the field of English tests.

The TOEIC is one of the most frequently taken language tests. Especially for people who want to document their business English skills, the TOEIC test is the first choice. Internationally active corporations rely on the TOEIC to assess the English skills of their employees. Add a TOEIC certificate to your application documents and document your English skills professionally. But the test is also an admission requirement at many universities abroad.

The examination center of the Academy of Languages is a recognized examination center for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). You can take the test at our center, but we also offer you the appropriate preparation course with qualified trainers. This will increase your chances of passing the exam with your desired certificate and score report.

The dates for the TOEIC Listening & Reading and Speaking & Writing tests are freely selectable at our examination centre. However, both formats are subject to a minimum number of three candidates.

The exam lasts two hours and assesses the candidates' listening and reading comprehension (Listening & Reading). There are 200 multiple choice questions to be solved. 100 listening comprehension questions and 100 reading comprehension questions.

TOEIC 4 Skills

In addition to listening and reading comprehension, this TOEIC test checks the language skills "Speaking & Writing" and tests the ability to express oneself verbally and in writing. This part of the test is taken on the computer and is internet-based. You are free to choose which parts to start with first. The test lasts 3 hours 20 minutes and includes multiple-choice questions for the Listening & Reading part as well as eleven sections for "Speaking" and eight sections for "Writing".

After passing the test, the candidate receives a language certificate that includes the candidate's name, test location, test date, institute conducting the test, and the test results. The different competence areas are evaluated individually with points and are also listed separately in the language certificate. The certificate at the end contains a score report that documents the language level at the time of the test. The TOEIC does not have a pass and fail system, but indicates the language level according to the CEFR.
